Whims and Fancies is hosting a Trunk Full of Quilts blog hop. I didn’t know a thing about it until I was over visiting my friend Michelle’s blog. The premise of the hop is to show off your favorite completed quilts..well that surely sounded like fun so I dug through the archives of quilt pictures and grabbed a few to share.
I tried to pick a mix of quilts we’ve designed like May Flowers from our book Country Girl Modern….(You can order a signed copy here)
and Thanks to You!
I tired to pick my favorite that we’ve had published in a magazine. This one was in March of this year in Quiltmaker. I think they called the quilt Strawberry Sundae but it will always be Tops and Bottoms to me.
Stars and Scraps Forever, other of our designs was featured in American Patchwork and Quilting.
I tried to pick my favorite pattern from our free patterns (find them on the left hand column of our blog) so I picked Jimmy John…
and Meet in the Middle.
I tried to pick my favorite done by other designers and then I was all confused I love all things Bonnie Hunter.
I’ve made MANY-MANY of her quilts. I love their scrappiness. Here is a listing of many of the quilts I’ve made that are her designs.
On my bed is a quilt I love from Pat Speth.
No list would be complete without some of the wall hangings I’ve made from Country Threads.
I have made so many of their patterns. I just love them.
But my favorite quilts of all have been my crumb quilts. More about them here.
The last one will likely be my favorite.
That sure was a fun traveling down memory lane….thanks to everyone at Whims and Fancies for taking me down that road.
